Challenges

Capturing a live, public-facing wellness event delivered in collaboration between Mr Motivator and SPAR at Cannon Hill Park presented a unique blend of logistical and creative challenges.

Filming across an open park environment meant managing unpredictable variables such as weather, crowd movement, and ambient noise, all while maintaining consistent visual and audio quality.

The event itself combined a high-energy exercise class with a public walk, requiring multi-angle coverage without disrupting participant safety or experience. Conducting live interviews with members of the public and Mr Motivator during the walk added further complexity, particularly in ensuring clear audio capture on the move.

Additionally, strict health and safety considerations had to be upheld throughout, alongside the need to produce a wide range of social media content within tight turnaround times, including deliverables filmed inside a local SPAR store.

Solutions

To manage these demands, we implemented a flexible yet highly coordinated production approach. Our team deployed multiple camera operators strategically across Cannon Hill Park to ensure comprehensive coverage of both the exercise session and the walk, capturing dynamic footage without interfering with participants.

We utilised portable audio solutions and stabilised camera systems to maintain professional quality while filming interviews on the move. Clear communication and pre-event planning allowed us to align closely with event organisers, ensuring all health and safety protocols were followed without compromising filming efficiency.

For the social media deliverables, we established a streamlined workflow that enabled us to capture, edit, and produce engaging content rapidly, including coordinating additional filming within a local SPAR location to extend the campaign’s reach and messaging.

Results

The final output was a vibrant and engaging collection of content that successfully captured the energy and community spirit of the event. Multi-angle footage and dynamic interviews brought authenticity to the campaign, highlighting both participant experiences and the presence of Mr Motivator.

Despite the challenges of filming in a live, outdoor environment, the production ran smoothly, with all health and safety requirements met and no disruption to the event.
