ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Hughes Productions established in 1983 as a video production company quickly found their place in the market. As a cameraman Dave Hughes worked for major AV companies gaining valuable experience within the industry, working for BBC’s Gardeners’ World Live, BBC's Watchdog, Sky TV channel’s Bravo and Sky Sports. Other clients included: BP Oil, 3Com, and Lex Transfleet.
A real turning point for the company came in 1994 when Wolverhampton based Banks’s Brewery commissioned two in-house training films which led to the production of a conference road show.
In 1997 Hughes Productions worked on a three year 3Com Middle East/European road show working in Kuwait, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Moscow and Iceland. Other high profile jobs included The World Lottery AGM for 2000 delegates; Boots 48 Hour Managers’ Meetings for 2000 delegates; three Hewlett Packard Server Conferences for 3000 delegates in Berlin, Seville and Euro Disney; and The Government of Dubai launch of Dubailand with 1000 delegates.
From 1998 to 2002 working even further afield in Canada, Finland, Denmark, Mauritius and the Caribbean. Multi-tasking to make conference highlight VTs, which were edited onsite and shown prior to delegate departure.
In 2003 Hughes Productions gained their first corporate client. In 2008 Hughes Productions Ltd was incorporated and for the past eleven years working exclusively for their own clients.
Hughes Productions now supply high end audio visual equipment, bespoke stage sets, cameras and have in-house NLE HD edit facilities. As a company Hughes Productions continually update their equipment and facilities for the current market.
